The bouquet has a vanillin lift with blackberries and spice it is a deep rich style with hints of mulberry, strawberries and aniseed.The palate is medium bodied with lively fruit flavours of plums, plush red berries with a mid-palate roundness finishing with aniseed and violets. The 12 months in oak gives the wine a crunchy textured length, fine grain tannins for aging with lots of life and complexity.
