Gold Medal 2022 Perth Royal Wine Show
Cellaring Potential
Will certainly reward 5-7 years in the cellar for those who can wait. Equally good for drinking now with a good 1 hour (minimum) in the decanter prior to drinking.
Enjoy With
Char grilled lamp rump with broccolini salad.
About Alkoomi
Established in 1971 by Merv and Judy Lange, Alkoomi has grown from a single hectare to one of WA’s largest family-owned and operated wineries. Now owned by daughter Sandy Hallett and her husband Rod, Alkoomi has 2 cellar doors, one at the Frankland River property and one in Albany.
Sandy’s grandparents first purchased the property in 1946 and they chose the name ‘Alkoomi’ for their rugged property and home – a word meaning "a place we chose" thought to be derived from a local Indigenous language.
